I have just now finished reading Neil Gaiman's Stardust, which I purchased earlier this evening while out with sunyata__. Now, for those who do not know me, I am a voracious reader who allows himself to become immersed in books. I have noticed that, once I open a good book, that I have to finish it. That is why, for the majority of the time I am in classes, I will not allow myself to read 'fun' books. This actually was not that bad. IT took me just under 3 hours to finish it. Now, for the review.
I have never read much in the way of magic/fantasy. There is a long story behind it that I will delve into at some other time. Suffice to say, this is my first book that would qualify for that category. I enjoyed it. The story flowed well. The characters were fleshed out and held my interest. Gaiman's writing style is very interesting to me. It is easy to read and flows well. I also picked up American Gods tonight, and I hope that it is as enjoyable as this. So, all in all, I recommend it. WBGS.
